The Katherine DiMatteo Jackson Story
Katherine DiMatteo Jackson is not an actor or celebrity. She is an ordinary person living an ordinary life. What sets her apart from other ordinary people is her incredibly optimistic attitude, her kind and giving spirit, and her unshakable faith in God. Katherine is 90 years old. She grew up in a Chicago most of us know only from history books and old news articles. Her parents were Italian immigrants. She was the youngest of nine children.
Her father was a peddler who gambled away his earnings. He was a man one would only aspire to be the opposite of. Yet her family was strong. She and her siblings drew strength from a small, quiet, unassuming lady who was their mother. She experienced poverty and the loss of loved ones at a young age. She survived a bout of diphtheria as a child and won a fight with cancer as an adult. She tells a story of a life filled with ups and downs and a peace gained from her faith in God and humankind. She recognized the many small miracles that happened to her throughout her life and the one incredible miracle she experienced one Easter Sunday in 2020 that inspired her to tell the story of What All God Has Done For Me.
